Atlanta based Guitarist Emil Werstler has performed worldwide with his main project DAATH (Century Media) on notable tours such as Ozzfest, as well as with other established acts including Unearth, Dragonforce, Devil Driver, and Job For A Cowboy.
In addition to his work with DAATH, Emil has been active as a touring guitarist with various acts including Chimaira and a notable stint filling in for Unearth's Buz McGrath during the group's entire 2009 US tour. He was a featured artist at the 2008 Experience PRS event, and has been a featured soloist on recordings by Arsis and Austrian Death Machine. In 2009, he toured the world in support of DAATH'S "The Concealers", and contributed a track to the Magna Carta release "Guitars That Ate My Brain."
Emil was recently featured in Guitar World's "Betcha Can't Play This" series, and has completed work on his first solo project Levi/Werstler, which is out now via Magna Carta Records. He currently conducts guitar clinics throughout the country with legendary luthier Paul Reed Smith and is hard at work on Daath's third effort, which is slated for a late 2010 release.
